NO Power

What do you do when you have no electrical power?
And the company tells you its going to be out for more than an hour?
Without sufficient light it's hard to see
and even harder by flashlight to play monopoly

It would be a good idea to read a book
Be sparing with your gas it's the only way to cook
Even if food is wrapped in aluminum foil

It's a pain if it's in the refrigerator and then it spoils
You can converse and tell stories that are funny
Having a better time than even shopping or spending money
Red, green or black be sure to have plenty of candles

But without working heat it's not a good idea to wear open sandals
So always be prepared no matter what you're thinking
Keep plenty of clean water for bathing or drinking
don't worry about about your non working internet
have more concern for your neighbors including those you haven't met
kindness shows up when it's hard to be hateful
remember no matter what you have every reason to be grateful
People think its most important to have perishable food

What helps us all is having a patient attitude
